* This document describes common methods for dealing with the problem. When the tool can not be used normally you can refer to this document to find likely solutions to a number of common problems. 
* For details on the error report, please read FAQ(..).txt.

* Debug mode
  * When there is any suspected program is not working properly or error situation, you can bypass the service control program directly using the debug mode. In debug mode all errors will be directly output to the screen. 
  * To use debug mode, Terminate all running instances and confirm that only one version of the program is running.
  * FreeBSD/Linux
    * Use the su command in the terminal to get root permissions
    * Use the cd command in the terminal to move to the directory where the program is located
    * In the terminal to use. / Pcap_DNSProxy --disable-daemon that can run in debug mode
  * MacOS
    * Use the sudo -i command in the terminal to get root permissions
    * Use the cd command in the terminal to move to the directory where the program is located
    * Use ./Pcap_DNSProxy in the terminal to run in debug mode

Operational results analysis:

  * If the following results occur, the service is running successfully but the remote DNS server does not respond, check for error report generation
  * Be sure to set up a correct, valid, and usable offshore DNS server
  * This may be a problem with the network. Part of the ISP / operator to UDP protocol forwarding packet loss rate is relatively high, you can try to switch to the TCP protocol mode (see ReadMe document configuration parameters in the detailed description of the base base area of ​​the Operation Mode section) or try to request several times
  * You can try to restart the service (see the restart service in the ReadMe documentation)

* Error by other DNS server response, pay attention to "SERVER: .. # 53 (..)" line must be :: 1 (IPv6, 127.0.0.1 under IPv4)
  * Please check the system's network settings, or it may be that the service is not running successfully or the service is running successfully but the remote DNS server is not responding
