README for SELinux Policy Editor Update version
2005.03.20

1. Overview
 SELinux Policy Editor(SELPE) is developed by Hitachi Software(www.selinux.hitachi-sk.co.jp) and distributed under GPL. 
 However, SELPE worked only on old 2.4-based SELinux. In 2005 Japan SELinux Users Group had begun to update SELPE. By using this updated version, you can try SELPE on Fedora Core2. 

2. Notice
1)
This release is developed for demo in SELinux Symposium 2005.
We made sure only apache, sshd, webmin to work on Fedora Core2.
2)
You have to use run_init command to restart daemon.
e.g: run_init /etc/init.d/httpd start
3)
Some documents under doc is not up to date.

3. INSTALLING
Follow the instruction in doc/english/install.txt.

Original version is developed by Hitachi Software. Most of work is by Hitachi Software.
Update for Fedora Core2 is developed in Japan SELinux Users Group(www.selinux.gr.jp).
