I'm learning Japanese, and wish to print out Mail messages, web pages
and the like. However, I've found that ghostscript doesn't print the .
ps files generated by netscape very well (all the Kanji, kata and kana
are absent). What do I need to do to print Kanji from netscape? I
have an HP 642C color inkjet pinter that I currently drive with
ghostscript on my mostly english system. I have the Cana4+mule port
running on this system, but no other Japanese software (other than
Netscape, which supports displaying Japanese text).

On a related topic, where can I find documentation on Cana4's input
method in english? I've found some in Japanese, but have found it
hard to mechanically translate into something that I can understand
well enough to use it. I've figured out, through trial and error how
to enter Hiragana and Katakana, but have no clue how to enter Kanji.

Finally, is there any good way for a native English speaker to learn
Japanese that people can recommend? I have lots of books and have
been using the brute force method to learn, but if there were programs
(like klearn) that would help me learn, I would appreciate hearing
about them. I'm most interested in grammar, endings, particles and
the like right now since I can lookup most Japanese words without too
much pain.

P.S. Thanks to Takemura-san from the NetBSD/hpcmips list who helped me
with the second sentence of this message (I cut and pasted it as I do
not yet know how to create Kanji in this setup).
